The Hungarian National Gallery welcomes visitors this day not only with the exhibition called “Bauhaus100 – Abstract Revue – selected works from the bequest of Andor Weininger” – but with other exciting programs.

The Hungarian National Gallery welcomes visitors this day not only with the exhibition called “Bauhaus100 – Abstract Revue – selected works from the bequest of Andor Weininger” – but with other exciting programs. Andrea Ladányi ballet dancer will perform for the audience, METU textile-faculty students will do a fashion show and Tünde Topor with Nóra Winkler will guide an exhibition tour.

Bauhaus100.Abstract Revue – selected works from the bequest of Andor Weininger – guided tour [*REG]

On the centenary of Bauhaus and hundred twentieth anniversary of Andor Weininger’s birth the Hungarian National Gallery presents an exhibition of the artist’s selected works coming from his bequest. It is open up to 28 July 2019.

The Gallery added eighty works and eighty smaller sketches from the artist – who died in New York City – to it’s collection in 2002. Selected items are exhibited now for the first time under the title “Abstract Revue”.

Participation for visitors of the “In the footsteps of Bauhaus” event is free but registration-bound.
