    150 becomes the new 100!

    In 2023, we will celebrate no less an occasion than Budapest’s 150th birthday. On this occasion, the next Budapest100 will return to welcoming houses of the same age – now 150-year-old instead of centenarians. After the popularity of the city festival, which was expanded to four days in 2022, the weekend of open houses will once again be enriched with a professional conference and a walking day

    between 2023. May 11-14. among. This long weekend invites you on a journey through the city from past to future, focusing on the unification of Pest, Buda and Óbuda in 1873. In connection with the 150th anniversary, we explore what the city was like a century and a half ago, how it has developed since then, and what paths lie ahead.
