After completion of the building, the house was owned by the Forg\u00f3 family from Csongr\u00e1d for decades, and later it was taken over by Simon Gy\u0151ri, who founded the Hotel named \u201cCity of Gy\u0151r\u201d here. The building was mainly the subject of tabloid news, with jealous love affairs spiced with jealousy. . Since 1927, it hostedThe Farkas Restaurant, and more recently a film studio.
