Az 1952\/53-as tan\u00e9v elej\u00e9n \u00dajpestre k\u00f6lt\u00f6z\u00f6tt: a gyakorlati k\u00e9pz\u00e9st az \u0150sz utc\u00e1ban, m\u00edg az elm\u00e9leti oktat\u00e1st a R\u00f3zsa utc\u00e1ban tartott\u00e1k. Nem sokkal k\u00e9s\u0151bb az int\u00e9zm\u00e9ny birtokba vehette a Baross utcai, kast\u00e9lyszer\u0171 \u00e9p\u00fcletet is \u2013 ennek hely\u00e9n tal\u00e1lhat\u00f3 a mai iskola \u00e9p\u00fclete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1959-ben az int\u00e9zm\u00e9ny felvette Simon Ferenc nev\u00e9t, aki cip\u00e9szk\u00e9nt dolgozott, \u00e9s 1944-ben m\u00e1rt\u00edrhal\u00e1lt halt szakszervezeti aktivistak\u00e9nt. Az iskola fenntart\u00f3i jogai 1973-ban a K\u00f6nny\u0171ipari Miniszt\u00e9riumt\u00f3l a F\u0151v\u00e1rosi \u00d6nkorm\u00e1nyzathoz ker\u00fcltek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Simon Ferenc B\u0151ripari Tanint\u00e9zet hossz\u00fa \u00e9vtizedeken kereszt\u00fcl meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 szerepet t\u00f6lt\u00f6tt be a b\u0151rfeldolgoz\u00f3 ipar szakmunk\u00e1sk\u00e9pz\u00e9s\u00e9ben. Az iskola egykori di\u00e1kjai k\u00f6z\u00fcl sokan v\u00e1ltak a k\u00e9s\u0151bbiekben a hazai b\u0151ripar elismert szakembereiv\u00e9 \u2013 a szakm\u00e1ban csak \u201eSimonk\u00e9nt\u201d emlegetett int\u00e9zm\u00e9ny \u00edgy komoly szakmai hagyom\u00e1nyokra tekint vissza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Az AHA Budapest projekt az Eur\u00f3pai Uni\u00f3 t\u00e1mogat\u00e1s\u00e1val ny\u00fajt megfizethet\u0151, energiatakar\u00e9kos b\u00e9rlak\u00e1sokat a f\u0151v\u00e1ros legink\u00e1bb r\u00e1szorul\u00f3 csoportjainak, \u00f6nell\u00e1t\u00e1st seg\u00edt\u0151 szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sokkal.
