[Dar\u00e1nyi-palota]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">The building was constructed in 1894 based on the plans of S\u00e1ndor Staerk, commissioned by Mrs. J\u00f3zsef Liebner. Her husband, J\u00f3zsef Liebner, imperial and royal steward, is regarded as a prominent figure in Hungarian beekeeping. At one time, a restaurant operated on the ground floor, followed by a honey warehouse. In honor of this, we have created a small local history exhibition, where visitors can learn about the family of the original builder, view stamped bricks, and see photographs depicting the life of the house. Our small inner courtyard was created through community planning.   <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The four-story, neo-Baroque rental house stands on L\u0151rinc pap, formerly Scitovszky Square. The lady who commissioned the building was married to J\u00f3zsef Liebner of Kakucs, who served as an imperial and royal steward. In addition to operating a honey warehouse, Liebner also ran a tavern in the building, which stirred the sensibilities of the faithful attending the Jesuit church across the street, as well as the residents of the girls\u2019 shelter next door. His monogram can be seen above the gate.
