Description

The first and oldest, still functioning artist colony in Budapest built between 1909 and 1911, during the time of István Bárczy, mayor of Budapest. Distinguished artists lived and created here sucj as sculptors Géza Csorba, Ede Kallós, Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl, Gamamemnon Makrisz and József Somogyi, as well as painters Dezső Czigány and Béla Kádár.
