    The list of houses for Budapest100 2024 is ready. We attempted to collect as many buildings as possible from Budapest that were built in the 1970s to give a diverse picture of the city’s late modern heritage. Our main focus is on the year 1974, so this year we are mainly targeting residential and public buildings that were completed or had their plans finalised in that year.


    If your address is on the list, do not hesitate to apply to participate in the program! If your house is not on the list yet, and it was built in the 70s, feel free to contact us! Applications from residents and institutions wishing to join the programme are welcome until mid-February at budapest100@kek.org.hu. You will find details on how to joins on this page.

    The 14th edition of Buddapest100, taking place between 9-12 May 2024 focues on the late modern heritage of the city by starting a conversation about its evaluation and possible future prespectives. In keeping with tradition, the four-day weekend will once again start with a day for professionals. The city’s buildings from this period also have many interesting stories to tell, which urban history lovers will have a chance to discover on the Open House Weekend and on the Friday Urban Walk Day. We can also discover how a house, a street or a neighbourhood has changed together with the communiities that have inhabited them since and those who use them now.
