The Neo-Renaissance school building on Andrássy út was built between 1873 and 1875 as an apartment building, but a school was already established in it from the beginning. It was completed in several parts, its design was started by József Pán and then continued by Alajos Hauszmann. Its special value is the coffered suspended iron corridor designed by the latter.
