Budapest100 is a celebration of communities, and it is especially important that we all gather to support it.

The difficulties in cultural funding are felt throughout the country, and we have not been spared either. Our previous funding has dwindled considerably and new opportunities have been limited. So it’s particularly important for us now to make up the shortfall in our Community Funding Campaign to ensure that Budapest100 continues to be the experience we love – and the experience you love.

Initially organised on a voluntary basis, the festival has grown to the point where a team at the Contemporary Architecture Centre (KÉK) work on it for half a year to ensure that during the festive weekend, urban communities are strengthened and brought together through the exploration of built heritage and personal storytelling — and, in the long run, to encourage more conscious use of the city.

Support our work so that the 15th edition of Budapest100 can come to life, and with this year’s COMMON/GREEN theme, we can tell the stories of buildings and the communities living in them through the lens of urban gardens they care for, lush green corridors, inner courtyards, and the role of green spaces in the city!

We launched our community fundraising campaign on the Adjukössze platform, where even a small contribution can help make the event happen. For those who are able to support us with a larger amount, we express our gratitude with an exclusive supporter badge and a ticket to KÉK’s Urban Walks.”

Every building is interesting, every donation counts!
