    Data and description

In 1972, the residents moved into the four tower blocks and three blockhouses of the KISZ (Hungarian Young Communist League) housing estate on Csorbai Road. The park was named after Chilean President Salvador Allende in 1973, a name that remained even after the regime change. The park was a social hub, hosting theatre performances, a football team, ping-pong tables and, in winter, enthusiastic parents turned the tarmac into a skating rink.
