The natural cave at 16 Országház Street also opens its doors to the public: you can enter the natural cave from Dárda Street, where there are medieval cellars, a labyrinth and a World War II shelter. A 20-minute guided walk will introduce you to 800 years of history and unique geology. The programme is recommended for children aged 12 and over. There is high humidity in the cave at 12 degrees Celsius.
Cave tours for a maximum of 15 people start from the courtyard of 16 Országház Street. No registration, the tour is available on a first-come, first-served basis in limited groups.
The Buda Castle Cave can also be visited as part of the 1.5-hour cave tours organised by the Danube-Ipoly National Park.
