    Data and description

Typical of the era, the design and extension of university campuses (Budapest University of Technology, Miskolc University of Heavy Industry, Veszprém University of Technology) was entrusted to the Public Building Design Company (KÖZTI), so like the BME’s external campus, they also designed the dormitory. The structure of the building was built using tunnel-formwork technology. The facades of the two wings of the building were clad in limestone, aluminium and red ceramic tiles. The colourful tiles also cover the interior of the building.
