    Data and description

The four-apartment building at 8 Lévay Street, designed by Levente Varga, is an outstanding work of its time and of the ‘private’ condominium building of the socialist era. The result of careful planning and continuous management is evident in every detail of the house, which was finished in 1969. Its sensitive layout, honest use of materials, flexible spatial organization and consistently executed interior design represent a rare quality. Unfortunately, despite all this, the building still fails to meet the expectations of the present and its owners, and will be demolished soon.
