    Data and description

In addition to the unique high-rise buildings of Práter Street, a large number of prefab flats were built in Józsefváros as part of the 1970s rehabilitation. Baross Street boasts an intricate chain of 10-12-floor prefab high-rise blocks. On the side of the residential buildings facing Losonci Square there is a school, a kindergarten, a day care centre, a playground and even a swimming pool. On the Baross Street side, the ‘Park of Musician Gypsies’ is a reminder of the musicians who used to live in the area and who were part of the diverse cultural life of the neighborhood.
