    Data and description

Our school opened its doors in 1973, 50 years ago, in the Füredi Street housing project; it was called Ormánság, then Ond Vezér Park Primary School. In 1991, it took the name of Dr. Ferenc Mező, a champion of the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic Games’ art competition. The institution consists of two buildings, connected by a link corridor, with an interior and exterior area of almost 12,000 m2. Our school is characterized by diversity due to its 4 dominant images – Olympic school, perpetual eco-school, peaceful school, the “Mező-Mid” Educational Programme for Hungarian as a foreign language.
