    Data and description

Today’s Táncsics Mihály College and Dormitory was originally built as a dormitory, too, in 1979. It has an unusually large, well-utilized garden of 1.5 hectares. The H-shaped building, strikingly lower than the surrounding prefab houses, has two long wings and can accommodate up to 500 students. The institution stands out for its unique pedagogical programme: the complex university preparatory programme, which ran from 1967 to 2017, was unique in the country, and the Arany János Talent Development Programme, which started in 2000, is the only one in Budapest.
