Tompa utca 11. lakóház
Data and description
This house, on the corner of Tompa and Angyal Street, has seen a Danube regulation clerk, a coffee dealer, a typesetter, a woman’s tailor and a shopkeeper among his tenants. Not very long ago, the urban surroundings had shown a completely different shape than today: on said streets, trams used to ride towards their garage until about 2000. It was around this time that the two-storey late Classicist house gained an additional storey. The house also once welcomed the mayor of Paris and the president of the World Bank — and there are many more secrets to explore!
