    Data and description

Furniture factory under the aisle – Art deco from Józsefváros to Paris. This is the building where the Antal Nagy and Son furniture factory operated from the 1920s until nationalisation. In 1937 they won the Grand Prix at the Paris World Exhibition, and the Museum of Applied Arts has a collection of many of their pieces. This is your chance to get a taste of the 1930s: a special pop-up exhibition of the family’s precious furniture, other furnishings and rare documents from the period will be on display in the courtyard of the house.

The house is taking part in the treasure hunting game of Józsefváros.
