Andrássy út 46. lakóház
Data and description
This three-storey, Neo-Renaissance building, situated in the heart of Andrássy Street, on the corner of Jókai Square was one of the first apartment blocks on the former Sugárút. It was designed by Adolf Feszty, brother of the famous Hungarian painter Árpád Feszty. An illustrious resident of the house was Károly Eötvös, known by his contemporaries, at the end of the 1800s, as one of the most influential public personalities of his time. Eötvös was not only a very successful lawyer, but also important as a politician and a member of the Parliament.
