    Data and description

The building, known as the Strausz Corner House in the 1870s wasowned by the Festetics family for a long time. Overlooking the market, it was largely inhabited by craftsman and merchants but also a junk dealer, a playwright, a horse agent and an artiste. It was home to an architect’s office and the office of a felt factory, “buying cow and calf hair at the highest price”and later a box factory, which incidentally, has been proven to have survived two fires. The house is also linked to a film reel found in an attic a 1930s sci-fi film.

The house is taking part in the treasure hunting game of Józsefváros.
