    Data and description

18 Lovag Street has gained its current form through a heightening in 1927, by the architects Dezső Jakab and Aladár Sós. The house saw its most exciting years when it functioned as the headquarters of the Budapest Press Public Company. In 1928, an illustrated special issue of the political newsletter ‘Magyarság’ (‘Hungarian’) featured a report on the everyday life of the press. In 1944, it became a “yellow-star house” along with seven further buildings in the street.
