    Data and description

The house, on the corner of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street and Hajós Street, was originally built in the 1850s in the Romantic style, but underwent a major renovation in the year of the unifiction of Budapest. Entering the courtyard, one immediately notices the two floors missing in part of the rear wing, presumably caused by damage during World War II. The history of the house includes the fact that the ground floor was originally a wine bar, and an opera dancer was once among the tenants.
